This Celebrity-Approved Hair Spray Is Affordable And Great

When it comes to beauty, celebrities obviously know what they’re talking about, which is why we’re into the volumizing hairspray that Brooke Shields recently applied to her own locks, according to Instagram.

Investing in a high-end hairspray is a great way to keep wind and rain from ruining your hair, and Serve Norman’s Dream Big Instant Volumizing Spray is definitely worth the (actually affordable!) splurge.

The product, currently selling on Amazon for $25, promises to “strengthen hair with natural minerals and proteins while providing touchable hold” and it’s exactly the kind of effect Brooke’s hairstylist, Tim Nolan, was probably looking.

In a behind-the-scenes Instagram story he posted on the set of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, where Brooke appeared a few days ago, Tim holds up the hairspray and applies it to the star’s look.

Other celebrities have also endorsed the product. Serge himself is actually a hairstylist for the stars and he apparently used it to create Meghan Markle’s iconic look on the September 2021 cover of Time magazine – the first time she appeared alongside her husband , Prince Harry, on the front page of a magazine.

Serge also works with style and beauty icon Sarah Jessica Parker, so it’s no surprise that she’s also publicly declared her love for his product (we wonder if using it can help us achieve the hair by Carrie Bradshaw!). According to People, Sarah Jessica once called the volumizing go-to a “must-have.” She told the magazine that the spray “works for so many people. Use it instead of dry shampoo or hairspray to give your hair more body.”

Bonus points: the cruelty-free formula is made without mineral oils or parabens, which we’re told to avoid when buying beauty products, and, when applied, the spray is both dry and clear so you don’t have to worry about your locks looking wet and powdery.

If celebrity praise isn’t enough to convince you to give hair spray a try, consider the price. At $25, what else are you waiting for?
