I have super frizzy hair and I only trust these hair products
I have never been more connected to a fictional character than to Monica Geller in FRIENDS From being a neat freak to complaining about being single all the time, Monica is my spirit animal. Aside from questionable personality traits, another thing I have in common with her is frizzy hair. Remember this episode:
Yes, that’s me everyday (Thank you very much, Mumbai humidity). When I was a teenager, the fastest way to fix my frizzy hair was to use heat to style my hair. However, this caused even more frizz because it dehydrated my hair (I speak of irony, amirite?). Luckily, as I grew older and learned more about hair care, I found a bunch of products that tame my frizz.
1. Fabulous Reviver Hair Repair Shampoo and Conditioner
Even though I have colored hair, I’ve never bothered to use shampoo and conditioner specifically for my hair type. Using regular shampoo and conditioner not only made my hair frizzy but also my color fade faster. So after some research (and a long lecture from my hairstylist), I found this pair of shampoo and conditioner. Since I started using this couple, my hair is softer and the color is more vibrant. It’s been a big part of taming my hair, and I’m going to stick with it for a while.
2. Moroccan oil Original Treatment
This golden liquid is a miracle in the bottle. I’m not even exaggerating; this serum has changed the look and feel of my hair in the best possible way. It’s alcohol-free, which is great because it doesn’t dry out my hair or make it frizzier. If you haven’t tried it yet, you have to! (Thank me later, sister)
3. Mamaearth Argan hair mask
I use this hair mask once a week to deeply condition my hair. It contains argan oil, avocado oil and milk protein, all super nourishing ingredients for your hair. My hair calms down instantly after just one use of this hair mask.
4. The body store Detangling comb
In the past, I tortured my hair with these hard plastic brushes, which increased the size of my hair three times. Thanks to all my Favorite YouTube beauty gurus, I’ve learned that using a wooden comb will help in the long run. They help distribute your hair’s natural oils, which prevents your hair from getting frizzy.
Along with these fantastic hair care products, I also use a hair dryer right after my shower to tame my hair before it gets frizzy.
What do you do to keep your hair frizz-free?
