Hair care: Deeply condition your frizzy hair at home in 4 easy steps

They say “hair is beauty” and we surely agree with that statement. However, things start to go downhill when your beautiful mane gets frizzy and dry. The worst part is when you literally try everything in your control to tame them, but nothing seems to work.

Well, we’ve come to your rescue with this easy DIY method that’s been working for decades now. This is DIY hot oil massage and it not only deeply conditions your hair but also works as a spa treatment for your scalp and strands. Here’s how:

Step 1:

Take coconut oil in a bowl. Now, if you are not a fan of coconut oil, you can substitute it with argan oil, olive oil or almond oil. Heat it until hot. Make sure you don’t overheat it.

POINT: For maximum benefits, you can also add a few curry leaves while the oil is hot and wait for the goodness of the leaves to be absorbed into the oil.

2nd step:

Once the oil is warm enough to touch, gently massage it into your scalp and the lengths of the hair. Make sure each strand is oiled. Massage for about 5-10 minutes for the oil to be properly absorbed by the scalp.

Step 3:

Take a towel and soak it in hot water. Squeeze out all the water. At this point, the towel will be hot or hot. Wrap the hot towel around your hair and leave it on until it returns to its normal temperature.

POINT: Now you can leave the oil in your hair as an overnight treatment or just for an hour. It totally depends on what suits you.

Step 4:

Rinse out the oil with a mild shampoo and follow your usual post-hair wash ritual.

We swear by this treatment because the hair oil nourishes hair strands and locks in moisture. This prevents the hair from becoming frizzy while the scalp also benefits from the essential benefits of the oils. What would you like to know next? Let us know in the comments section below.
