Easy do-it-yourself home remedies to get rid of monsoon frizzy hair

The monsoons are here!! The ring of crackling clouds, the pounding thunder, and the smell of wet, damp earth; is both an inexpressible feeling and something that takes you to the 9th cloud. The heavy casting brings a lot of joy, but along with all the fun, it also brings a lot of hair trouble. Yes, the rains must be the biggest enemy of our long braids. It makes them super frizzy and leaves everything dry.

This season offers hair conditions that, in honest terms, are extremely “strange”. Our hair goes through the texture of being extremely oily but also very frizzy. The drizzle also brings with it “lice infestation” which can be contagious. Dandruff is another huge headache that comes to life during this season. Although there are far too many problems, we also have equal solutions that will help you get rid of these hair problems. Below is a list of remedies that will be a saving grace for your hair this rainy season.

Honey and yogurt

Honey and yogurt are the star ingredients in your kitchen when it comes to skin and hair care. Mix yogurt with a few drops of honey, apply them evenly on the roots and along the length of your hair. Leave it on for about half an hour and rinse it off with cold water. Do it once a week to get shiny and silky hair.

shroom hair

Don’t underestimate the power of a good head massage. Your roots and scalp need the oils that are washed away by the spill. Use the oil of your choice and add a few drops of castor oil to it. Warm it up slightly and treat yourself to a good shroom. Leave it overnight and wash it out with a mild shampoo and conditioner.

Banana Egg Hair Mask

Make a hair mask with 2 ripe bananas and 1 egg. Mix well and apply it evenly on your hair. Leave it on for an hour and wash it off with a good shampoo and conditioner. Wear it weekly for best results.

Aloe vera and vitamin E capsules

Aloe vera is one of Mother Nature’s best gifts to mankind. Take aloe vera gel and massage it into your hair from the roots to the length of your hair. Post this, take some coconut oil and use the oil from 3-4 vitamin E capsules. Apply it on your hair and leave it on for at least an hour overnight. Wash it off with a mild shampoo and conditioner and apply a good hair serum.

Almond hair mask

Almonds are excellent for our body in general. To get rid of dry hair, prepare an almond paste and mix it with ripe bananas. You can also add a few drops of vitamin E oil to the capsules. Apply it for an hour and rinse. Try this at least once a week for best results.

This is the season when your hair needs you the most. If you leave it in a bad state, rest assured that your whole year will be one huge “bad hair day” and that’s clearly something none of us are ready for.
